Seed-filled wedding favors inspire guests to grow a garden. Get ideas on HGTV.
For these favors, you will need: jelly jars/burlap /wildflower seed mix/labels/marker/scissors/felt/hot glue gun & glue sticks/floral supply stamens/ribbon/computer/paper/computer printer/garden twine.
Begin by cutting a circular base (approx. the size of a fifty cent piece). Cut 8 more fifty cent piece-sized circles, 7 quarter-sized circles, and 6 nickle-sized circles out of felt.
Make the petal by hot gluing the ends onto one another. Repeat this for all of the three sized petals that you cut out in the previous step.
Hot glue the 8 larger petals to the circular base to form the flower. Next, layer on the 7 petals and then the 6 smallest ones. Hot glue each one into place.
Cut a three-inch strip of felt and three floral stamens.
Hot glue the stamens to one end of the felt. Run a line of hot glue along the center of the felt and roll it into a loose center for the flower. Glue the final end in place.
Hot glue the felt and stamen center of the flower into the middle of the flower.
On a small piece of paper, let your guests know how to plant the wildflower seeds.
Try adding a sweet saying like "Love Blooms," "Seeds of Love" or add your initials with a plus sign between them.
Trim the burlap and ribbon edges for a uniform, neat appearance.
Hot glue the flower onto the top of each jar.
