Waist - 22 to 30 inches

With all of its original fabric hang tags, this vintage 1980's size 6 Vassarette Stretch Satin panty has never been worn. It is a rare and very sexy find for the vintage lingerie collector. High-cut leg style, it is a brilliant shiny purple color. The fabric is 92% Nylon and 8% Lycra, which is what Spandex was called back in the day. The crotch area is purple solid color cotton.

Although these are labeled as size 6, that is 1980's sizing. In today's measurements I think these will fit more like a modern size 5 Small panty. Please use these measurements to make sure these will fit you well:

Waist ~~~ 22 to 30 inches
Center front ~~~ 12 and 1/2 inches
Full length of sides ~~~ 3 inches
Leg opening ~~~ 18 to 24 inches

At the waistband, the only trim is a tiny satin bow.

Never worn by the original owner, the Stretch Satin Hi-Cut paper hang tags are still attached, as is another smaller one with the Lycra tag.

Because the paper hang tags are attached, I did not launder this vintage pair of panties and that will be up to the new owner.

At the waist and at the leg openings there is a band of hidden elastic which is still completely stretchy.

As you can see, this is a colorful well made panty in Mint Vintage condition. The only thing I can find to report is that the paper labels are somewhat bent due to storage.

All the seams are intact and there are no stains, odors, snags or holes.
