Happy Tuesday, friends! In honor of Lila’s birthday, I spent a good bit of yesterday morning baking my first three layer homemade funfetti cake. Five sticks of butter and countless cups of sugar later, fingers crossed it tastes as good as it looks. Her birthday isn’t officially till Friday but I’m hosting a little December birthday celebration today for our weekly play group since four of the babies have their first birthdays this month and that calls for some yummy cake! I’ll be saving a big piece for Lila to do a cake smash this weekend so we can take photos.What’s more ‘holiday’ than plaid, or even better, a plaid scarf?
