ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY 100% renewable, 100% biodegradable, the wool is sourced from non mulesed sheep and uses certified shearers to ensure that the sheep are treated kindly. Removing their very heavy fleeces is not only eco friendly and sustainable but it helps to keep the sheep healthy & happy! The wool fibers used in this yarn are untreated, which means that it is only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing, which is certified to Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX. This highlights the fiber’s natural properties, while it also provides a better shape and texture to each stitch and means it can be used for weaving and felting too.
