Late last week, a large cone-shaped, papier-mache sculpture popped up at the complicated juncture of Leake Avenue, Eagle Street and Oak Street in the Riverbend neighborhood. The wrinkled face of the cone greeted the lines of drivers that lurched through the awkward intersection with an expression that lay somewhere between bewilderment and consternation.
